Sana'a: The local authority in Sana'a Governorate, in coordination with mobilization efforts, organized a speech event to mark the annual Al-Sarkah anniversary for the year 1447 AH, under the theme 'The Slogan. A Weapon and a Stance.' According to Yemen News Agency, several members of the Shura Council, the Secretary-General of the local council in the governorate Abdulqader Al-Jilani, members of the local council's administrative body, deputy governors, and local council members attended the event. The Deputy Governor for Education and Youth Sector, Talib Dahhan, emphasized that the slogan proclaimed by the martyred leader Sayyed Hussein Bader aldin Al-Houthi represented a stance rejecting dominance by arrogant and tyrannical powers. Dahhan stated that the slogan emerged during a challenging phase, representing a banner for a comprehensive Qur'anic project aimed at liberating the nation. He described it as a religious stance rather than a partisan or sectarian act, aligning it with the path of prophets and righteous figures against disbelief and falsehood. Cultural activist Abdulkarim Atef highlighted the importance of commemorating the slogan, describing it as a weapon against global hegemonic powers. He asserted that it signifies disavowal from the enemies of Allah and the nation, rejecting policies and crimes by the United States and Israel against oppressed peoples, and serving as a response to global violations. Atef noted the slogan's role in combating domination projects and misinformation, inspiring a generation that refuses subjugation. He mentioned its global resonance, including its presentation at the UN Security Council by what he referred to as the 'so-called Israeli ambassador.' Palestinian cultural activist Dr. Abdullah Al-Buhaisi affirmed the slogan's global impact, representing a voice of truth during times of national weakness. He stated it has evolved into powerful symbols targeting strongholds of Zionist and American tyranny, breaking silence against global powers and fostering resilienc e. Dr. Al-Buhaisi reflected on the slogan's initial misunderstanding and opposition in various regions, including Gaza, until the events of October 7, when Yemeni leadership declared solidarity with Gaza. He reviewed imagery showcasing Gaza's gratitude for Yemen's support against Israeli occupation, emphasizing a sincere struggle alongside the broader Islamic nation. Al-Buhaisi concluded that the slogan has constrained U.S. influence globally, inspired by the Holy Qur'an, contributing significantly to the nation's awakening, freedom, and independence.
