Saudi Airstrikes in Taiz Result in Civilian Casualties and Violations of International Law

Taiz:The Ministry of Health and Environment has reported the martyrdom and injury of eight citizens due to Saudi enemy aircraft targeting homes in the Al-Shamaytein District of Taiz Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry's statement detailed that the Saudi airstrikes on two homes in the village of Jan'a, located in the Al-Masahin and Al-Za'azi' areas, resulted in the martyrdom of seven citizens and left a girl injured. The ongoing presence of enemy aircraft in the area has hindered ambulance crews from reaching the victims, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

The Ministry emphasized that the targeting of residential homes and the obstruction of emergency services constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, contributing to a series of war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
