Taiz:A deadly incident has occurred in the Al-Ta'iziyah district, where a Saudi-led attack resulted in casualties among women and children. The targeted area, identified as Wadi Hanash in the Hadhran sub-district, was struck by mortar shells.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry of Health and Environment spokesperson, Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, confirmed that the attack led to the deaths of three women and injuries to three children, with the severity of these injuries varying. Dr. Al-Asbahi emphasized that the victims were within their homes at the time of the attack.
Dr. Al-Asbahi further stated that this incident is a direct violation of international humanitarian law and is part of ongoing atrocities committed against defenseless civilians in Yemen. The targeting of civilians in their homes raises significant concerns about safety and the protection of non-combatants in conflict zones.
