Sana'a: Shura Council on Saturday mourned the passing of its member, Sheikh Qasim Ali al-Nufi, who died at the age of 59 after a life dedicated to serving the nation and society.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council praised al-Nufi's dedication in fulfilling his duties within the armed forces and his active role as a Shura Council member. The Council highlighted that the deceased was a prominent sheikh of Bani Nouf tribe in Jawf governorate and an influential social figure. He played a significant role in confronting aggression, supporting the Palestinian cause, and resolving numerous societal and tribal issues.
