Shu’ub District Organizes Armed Rally to Support Holy Quran Amid Condemnation of Insults

Sana'a: Shu'ub district, in collaboration with the General Mobilization and Social Unity departments in Sana'a, organized an armed rally on Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, express support for the Holy Quran, and denounce the insults directed at this sacred text.

According to Yemen News Agency, the rally was attended by several notable figures including Shura Council members Ahmed al-Shar'abi and Ahmed al-Zubairi, the Undersecretary of the Capital Sana'a for Education, Mohammed al-Banous, and the Secretary of the Local Council in Shu'ub District, Mohammed al-Hadrami. The Mobilization Officer, Abdullah al-Koul, the Security District Director, Colonel Ghanem Jazilan, and other leaders and social figures also participated. The participants reiterated their commitment to the Holy Quran, emphasizing its sanctity and pledging to adhere to its guidance.

The rally's participants strongly condemned the repeated insults against the Holy Quran by Zionist-American entities. They described these actions as religious aggression against Islam and Muslims, expressing concern over the Quran's exposure of their dark history and dangerous projects.

A statement from the demonstration criticized the lack of action by scholars, governments, and people in defending the Holy Quran. It suggested that an economic boycott of American goods and those from countries sponsoring the insults could force a change in behavior.

The statement also expressed support for the policy of responding to a siege with a siege and praised the armed forces for their missile and air strikes on Saudi troop concentrations. It urged continued public mobilization and readiness, calling for participation in events commemorating the Prophet's birthday and encouraging decorations and charitable activities to support the needy.
