Sana'a: Al-Sabeen Maternity and Childhood Hospital and the National Center for Blood Transfusion and Research organized a sit-in in the capital to express solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people, condemning acts of genocide, starvation, and blockade.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures including Al-Sabeen Hospital Director Dr. Majda Al-Khatib and Deputy Director of the Blood Bank Dr. Adnan Al-Hakimi, along with Deputy Hospital Directors Dr. Sarah Jahaf, Hanaa Al-Adimi, and Mona Al-Washali. The participants reaffirmed their allegiance to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and pledged ongoing support for the people of Gaza until the aggression ceases and the blockade is lifted.

The gathering condemned the Israeli occupation for actions described as heinous massacres, systematic genocide, and a complete blockade, which have resulted in the deaths of thousands, including children and women. Participants criticized the perceived international and UN complicity in these events.

Solidarity slogans were chanted during the sit-in, denouncing Arab and Islamic complacency and global silence concerning the situation in Palestine. A statement by the hospital's Cultural and Media Officer, Mohsen Allahbah, emphasized that the death toll in Gaza signifies a broader death of humanity and conscience.

The statement accused the Israeli occupation, with backing from the U.S. administration, of committing unprecedented crimes against humanity, targeting innocents and hospitals while the world remains inactive. The blockade's prevention of essential supplies to Gaza was labeled an unforgivable crime.

Arab and Islamic regimes, especially those neighboring Gaza, were held accountable for their silence and participation in the blockade. The statement also criticized international silence, which it claimed enables further massacres and prolongs the suffering in Gaza.

The statement posed critical questions about global inaction and urged the world to choose between justice and oppression. Hospital and blood center staff reiterated their commitment to supporting Gaza until victory is achieved and praised the resilience of Palestinian medical professionals. They expressed confidence that Gaza would ultimately prevail, similar to historic triumphs of free peoples over tyranny.
