Sana'a: Evenings were held in the districts of Sana'a Governorate to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), under the slogan "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have won!"
According to Yemen News Agency, in Bani Matar District, the Deputy Governor, Talib Dahhan, and the District Director, Yahya al-Qanous, emphasized during an evening in the "Mikhlaf Janab" area the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to draw lessons and inspiration from the tragic event that led the nation astray. They highlighted Imam Ali's stances, his courage, and his jihad alongside the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), which represents a school from which free people learn the true greatness of Islam in carrying the banner of truth and striving in the path of Allah to confront the enemies of the nation.
During evenings in the villages of Shahab Asfal, Al-Hadab, and Al-Habl in the same district, participants emphasized the importance of seizing the opportunities presented by the end of the holy month to strengthen their connection with Allah Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the Ahlul-Bayt (the Prophet's family). They stressed the need to perform good deeds, promote solidarity, care for the poor and needy, and seek guidance from Allah.
At an evening event in the Sanhan district, Abdul-Muhsin Al-Sharif, Director of the Youth and Sports Office, stressed the importance of a sincere return to Allah Almighty, adherence to the Holy Quran, emulation of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and following the path of his pure family. This, he noted, strengthens faith-based awareness and a sense of responsibility in supporting and defending the nation's causes.
In the Jihana district, a speech event was held in the village of Qarwa to commemorate the occasion. Ahsan Al-Abbadi, the governorate's Guidance Officer, highlighted the significance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons and inspiration that will make the nation stronger in confronting the world's tyrants and criminals. He explained that today's battle with the enemies of Islam is decisive and different from the battles of the past, requiring vigilance and readiness for any options the leadership may choose in confronting the forces of global arrogance.
Evenings were also held in the districts of Khawlan, Al-Tayyal, Al-Hisn, Bani Dhubyan, Bani Bahlul, Bilad Al-Rus, Al-Haymatayn (both inner and outer), Manakhah, and Sa'fan, as well as in the districts of Nihm, Hamdan, and Bani Hashish. The speeches delivered at these gatherings emphasized the importance of sincere allegiance to Allah, His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the guiding lights of Islam.
The life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), his struggle, courage, and sacrifices in defending true Muhammadan Islam, and his stances in supporting the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), were reviewed, underscoring the importance of strengthening faith-based awareness and connection to the Book of Allah. The gatherings aimed to fortify future generations with the Quran, Quranic awareness and culture, and rally around Quranic leadership in confronting the enemies' schemes. The evenings, attended by several directors of directorates and executive offices, mobilization officials, and educational, mobilization, and local figures, included poems and presentations reflecting the occasion.
