Mahweet: Students participating in summer programs in Mahweet city on Saturday visited the Republican Hospital as part of awareness and educational programs aimed at promoting health awareness among students. The initiative was designed to expose students to the healthcare environment and educate them on the importance of medical services.

According to Yemen News Agency, the students learned about the health services provided by the hospital, as well as the medical equipment used in diagnosing cases and providing treatment to patients. This firsthand experience was intended to enhance their understanding of healthcare operations and the critical role of hospitals in community health.

Dr. Hamid al-Sadiq, Director of the Republican Hospital, emphasized the importance of organizing such visits to raise health awareness among young people and develop their understanding of the importance of disease prevention. He highlighted that familiarizing students with healthcare settings can foster a proactive approach to health management from an early age.
