Taiz:Residents of Same' and Shar'ab al-Salam districts in the Taiz governorate held armed tribal rallies on Sunday, expressing support for Palestine and readiness to counter what they describe as the Saudi enemy's aggression and blockade. The gatherings, held under the slogan "March forth, whether light or heavy," included tribal sheikhs, social figures, and district directors.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants emphasized the importance of continuing mobilization, strengthening preparedness, and uniting ranks to confront the threats to Yemen's land and people by the Saudi enemy. They called for practical action to reinforce the frontlines with personnel, food supplies, and financial support.
The rallies were described as a demonstration of unity and tribal cohesion, with residents reaffirming their commitment to national causes and readiness to confront challenges. They declared a state of general mobilization and condemned the crimes against Yemen's children, women, and elderly.
Participants also commemorated the first anniversary of Lieutenant General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari's martyrdom, pledging loyalty and commitment to his legacy. The tribal gatherings were part of a broader mobilization effort by Taiz's tribes, aimed at ending the aggression and restoring Yemen's sovereignty.
A statement issued at the rallies condemned the ongoing Saudi-led blockade, which it described as serving the Zionist enemy and promoting foreign dependency. The statement reaffirmed support for the Armed Forces and called for a return to national unity, urging those misled to take advantage of the presidential amnesty.
The statement also reaffirmed support for Al-Aqsa Mosque and criticized regimes normalizing relations with Zionists, particularly accusing the Saudi regime of hostility towards Yemen. It extended congratulations to the Palestinian resistance on the third anniversary of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation, underscoring steadfast support for the Palestinians until victory is achieved.
