Sana'a: Three health clinics have been opened at detention centers affiliated with security departments in Sana'a Governorate as part of efforts to improve healthcare services for detainees. Dr. Akram Al-Madani, Director of Preventive and Therapeutic Medicine at the Ministry of Interior, and Prisons Committee member Kameel Ghathaya inaugurated a clinic at the detention center of Arhab District Security Department. Two additional clinics were opened at the security departments of Jihana Area and Sanhan District. The facilities were supplied with furniture, medicines, medical supplies, and cleaning materials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Maj. Mohammed Qalalah, Deputy Director of Preventive and Therapeutic Medicine at the Ministry of Interior, launched the distribution of medicines, medical supplies and cleaning materials to police stations in Al-Thawra, Humair, and Nuqum in the capital. Al-Madani said the measures are part of a plan to provide necessary healthcare to inmates and detainees at correctional and detention facilities.
Officials at the detention centers expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Interior and Prisons Committee's efforts to improve healthcare services and meet the centers' needs.
