Sana'a: The Traffic Police announced their readiness and the implementation of their comprehensive traffic plan to serve participants in the events commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family), in the capital Sana'a and the governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, the plan aims to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic across various streets and roads, provide direct ambulance and technical services to participants and visitors to the Capital Secretariat and the governorates, as well as secure the long-distance routes connecting the governorates to ensure the safety of travelers.
They affirmed that personnel and field teams, both human and mechanical, have been allocated to ensure the desired service for the guests of the Messenger of God. This includes the allocation of 175 traffic patrols to organize, direct, and secure traffic routes on main streets, intersections, and vital squares in the Capital Secretariat and the governorates, and 12 equipped ambulances to provide medical and emergency services and immediate response to any emergency cases along the traffic routes and event sites.
The Traffic Police also confirmed the allocation of 70 tow trucks for rapid response to any breakdowns or emergency incidents causing traffic congestion, and to clear roads urgently, as well as 15 mobile technical maintenance workshops that have been equipped and distributed along main streets and entrances to the capital and governorates, to provide technical support and emergency maintenance services (mechanical and electrical) for vehicles of participants and visitors, and to address breakdowns immediately to ensure traffic flow is not disrupted.
They pointed out that the readiness of the Traffic Police Road Services centers, activated along the long-distance routes between governorates, has been raised to provide ambulance and traffic services throughout the journey to and from the events.
The General Traffic Police Administration called on all drivers and participants to adhere to traffic rules and instructions, and to cooperate fully with traffic police officers in the field, to enhance the success of the event in a manner befitting the greatness of the occasion.
They emphasized that operations rooms and traffic units are in full readiness around the clock to serve the guests of the Messenger of God (PBUH), urging everyone to quickly report any emergencies or requests for technical and traffic assistance via the unified toll-free number "194."
