Training Workshop Conducted in Sa’ada on Humanitarian Work and Media

Sa'ada: A training workshop on 'Humanitarian Work and Media' was held on Thursday in Sa'ada Governorate, organized by the Sa'ada branch of the Yemen Red Crescent Society. The workshop aimed to familiarize a number of local journalists with the society's tasks, principles, and nature of work, to build an effective partnership with the media, and to provide training in first aid.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was held under the slogan 'Towards a Sustainable Media Partnership to Support Humanitarian Work.' At the opening, the branch director, Hassan Al-Mu'allaf, praised the efforts of journalists in covering activities in the governorate. He highlighted the importance of the partnership between media and humanitarian work in serving society, particularly by raising community awareness of risks during crises and conflicts.

The workshop also reviewed the services, aid, and activities that the Red Crescent has carried out in the governorate over the past period.
