US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression: A Historical Account of August 1 Incidents

Sana'a: On this day, August 1, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression has repeatedly targeted infrastructure and civilian property, leading to numerous deaths and injuries, including women and children.

According to Yemen News Agency, on August 1, 2015, a tragic incident occurred when a child was killed and two others were injured due to an explosion of a shell left behind by the aggression in the Al-Ammar area of Al-Safra'a District, Saada Governorate. The same day saw airstrikes on cold storage facilities in the Economic Corporation's central market in Mabar, Dhamar Governorate, and multiple airstrikes on Old Marib.

In 2016, the aggression's air force launched several airstrikes across various regions, including three on Al-Baha Market in Baqim District, Saada Governorate, causing significant damage to civilian property. Additionally, airstrikes targeted Kitaf District, Haydan District, and multiple locations in Sana'a, Hajjah, Lahj, and Taiz governorates.

The following year, on August 1, 2017, artillery shelling in Al-Maton District, Jawf Governorate, resulted in the deaths of Saleh Al-Haik and his daughter, with his son sustaining serious injuries. Further, Saudi Border Guard fire in Munabbih District, Saada Governorate, killed one citizen and seriously injured another.

In 2018, a coalition airstrike in Saqayn District, Sa'dah Governorate, killed a woman and her child, while another airstrike in Razih District resulted in similar casualties. Residential areas in Shada, Manbih, and Baqim districts faced missile and artillery shelling, damaging citizens' property.

On August 1, 2019, a child was killed in At-Tuhayta District, Hodeida Governorate, due to mercenary shelling. The same day, mercenaries shelled Al-Zafran village in Ad-Durayhimi District with over 15 artillery shells.

The aggression continued on August 1, 2020, with airstrikes targeting multiple districts across Saada, Sana'a, Jawf, and Marib governorates. Combat reconnaissance aircraft carried out raids in Durayhimi District, Hodeida Governorate, while mercenaries shelled various areas.

By August 1, 2021, the aggression's air force targeted districts in Marib Governorate with several raids. Mercenaries established combat fortifications in Hodeida Governorate, launching artillery shells and ammunition across numerous areas.

On the same date in 2022, reconnaissance aircraft attacked multiple districts in Dhale'a and Taiz governorates. Mercenaries established combat fortifications around Marib City and targeted various regions with intense artillery shelling.

Most recently, on August 1, 2023, four civilians were injured by Saudi enemy fire in Shada District, Saada Governorate. Additionally, a child was seriously injured by an explosive device in Durayhimi District, Hodeida Governorate, as reconnaissance aircraft and mercenaries continued their aggressive actions.
