US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Leads to Destruction and Casualties Over the Years

Sana'a: On this day, April 17, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of raids on Sana'a International Airport and the homes and farms of citizens, causing widespread destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, on April 17, 2015, aggression aircraft launched a series of raids on Sana'a International Airport during the landing and departure of a Jordanian plane. This action posed a threat to the safety of the plane and its passengers, including stranded Yemenis arriving from Jordan and foreign nationals waiting for departure.

On April 17, 2017, the aggression aircraft conducted three raids on Moza district and Yakhtal area in Mokha district, and targeted the Mokha junction in Taiz governorate with another raid. Saada governorate experienced a series of raids, with nine on Al-Dhaher district, six on Wadi Khalaf, two on Al-Thaaban area, and three on Al Al-Zemah area in Baqim district, damaging citizens' properties and farms.

In 2018, Saudi missile and artillery shelling injured a woman in the border district of Razih in Saada governorate. Similar shelling impacted various areas in Haidan and Al-Dhaher districts, damaging homes and properties. The aggression aircraft launched several raids on Majz and Baqim districts, among other areas in Saada governorate, causing damage to farms and properties.

On April 17, 2019, mercenaries targeted Al-Jabaliya area in Tuhaita district in Al-Hodeida governorate with artillery shelling and machine guns. Residential neighborhoods in Al-Hodeida city and other areas in the governorate were also targeted, affecting citizens' homes and properties.

In 2020, various districts in Marib and Al-Jawf governorates faced numerous air raids. The Al-Adain triangle and areas west of Maghari village in Hays district, along with other villages, were subjected to artillery shelling.

The aggression continued in 2021 with 16 raids east of Al-Mashjah area in Sirwah district in Marib governorate. Artillery shelling impacted different areas in Al-Hodeida governorate.

On April 17, 2022, two citizens were martyred in Tuhaita district in Al-Hodeida governorate due to explosive remnants left by the aggression. Missile and machine gun attacks targeted citizens' homes in Saada and Hajjah governorates.

In 2023, a citizen was martyred by Saudi artillery shelling in Monabbih district in Saada governorate. Reconnaissance aircraft launched raids on Maqbanah and Hays districts, while mercenaries established combat fortifications in Al-Jabaliya area and shelled various areas.

On April 17, 2025, yet another citizen was martyred by Saudi enemy fire in Monabbih district in Saada governorate, marking another day of aggression and loss for the region.
