Sana'a: On November 19, multiple years of US-Saudi-Emirati military operations resulted in numerous civilian casualties across various provinces in Yemen, as aggressive airstrikes and artillery shelling targeted civilian areas.

According to Yemen News Agency, the attacks began in 2015 when airstrikes targeted fishing boats near the islands of Hanish and Zuqar in Al-Hodeidah Province, killing twenty fishermen and injuring dozens. The same day saw missile attacks on a market in Damt District, Al-Dhalea Province, and airstrikes on Mokha city in Taiz Province, resulting in civilian deaths and damage to homes and businesses.

In 2016, Saudi border guards shot and killed Abdullah Hassan Yahya Rimah in Sa'ada Province, while airstrikes across several provinces, including Al-Hodeida and Taiz, caused more civilian injuries and destruction. This pattern of violence continued into 2017, exacerbated by airstrikes on residential areas in Sana'a and Al-Jawf, leaving multiple civilians, including children, dead.

November 19, 2018, saw further bloodshed as airstrikes in Al-Hodeida and Sa'ada provinces resulted in civilian casualties. The attacks continued over the years, with artillery and rocket shelling targeting villages in Sa'ada Province in 2019, and extensive airstrikes in Al-Bayda and Marib Provinces in 2020.

In 2021, airstrikes and artillery shelling in Al-Hodeida and Sana'a Provinces continued to claim lives and damage property, with significant focus on disrupting civilian infrastructure. The violence persisted into 2022, as artillery shelling by mercenaries in Al-Hodeida Province resulted in the death of a child and injuries to her family.

These repeated offensives, spanning several years, have left a trail of devastation and highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
