US-Saudi-Emirati Airstrikes Cause Extensive Damage and Casualties Across Multiple Yemeni Governorates

Sana'a: On August 19, US-Saudi-Emirati aggression aircraft executed numerous attacks across various Yemeni governorates, resulting in significant loss of life, injuries, and destruction of infrastructure. Multiple airstrikes targeted public and private properties, claiming the lives of dozens of citizens, including children, and inflicting severe damage on local communities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the assaults began on August 19, 2015, when aggression aircraft bombed the headquarters of the Educational Professions Syndicate in Amran City. This attack led to the martyrdom of 21 citizens, including children, and injured over 20 others. The onslaught also resulted in the destruction of 11 nearby homes and damage to several vehicles.

In Hodeida Governorate, 12 citizens were martyred and numerous others injured when aircraft attacked commercial shops and restaurants in Al-Dhahi District. In addition, the targeting of two tankers loaded with mineral water in Al-Zuhrah District led to further casualties.

The aggression aircraft continued their campaign with multiple raids on military camps and public infrastructure in Ma'rib, Sana'a, and Saada Governorates. These attacks caused extensive damage to water tanks, homes, and farms, impacting the livelihoods of numerous citizens.

On the same date in subsequent years, similar airstrikes and shelling were reported, continuing to inflict casualties and destruction. In 2016, airstrikes in Sana'a and Al-Jawf Governorates resulted in numerous martyrs and injuries. In 2017, attacks in Taiz and Hajjah Governorates targeted vehicles and camps, causing significant loss of life and property damage.

The aggression persisted in 2018, with attacks on fishing boats near Al-Sawabi' Island in Hodeida, leading to the martyrdom of 13 fishermen. Bombings in residential areas of Saada Governorate further exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.

In 2019, aggression mercenaries and aircraft targeted various districts across multiple governorates, resulting in the deaths of citizens and damage to properties. Notably, in Sana'a Governorate, the destruction of infrastructure and homes was reported.

The attacks continued in 2020, with airstrikes in Ma'rib and Al-Jawf Governorates, as well as the injury of mine action engineers in Sana'a. The following year, airstrikes and reconnaissance raids were carried out in Ma'rib, Al-Jawf, and Hodeida Governorates, causing further destruction.

In 2022 and 2023, the aggression and mercenary activities persisted, with shelling and the establishment of combat fortifications in Hodeida, Ma'rib, and other governorates. These continuous assaults have led to ongoing humanitarian challenges and exacerbated the plight of Yemeni citizens.
