Sana'a: On this day, July 3, the ongoing tragic narrative of civilian casualties, including women and children, due to US-Saudi-Emirati military operations is remembered across several governorates.

According to Yemen News Agency, the brutal airstrikes commenced on July 3, 2015, when ten citizens lost their lives and others, including children, were injured following a bombing on a residential building in the Bayt al-Faqih district of Hodeida Governorate. This attack not only destroyed the targeted building but also heavily damaged neighboring structures. An entire family perished when enemy aircraft targeted their vehicle in Lahj Governorate, and further strikes occurred in Al-Husayni area of Al-Hawtah city.

In the capital, Sana'a, four citizens were killed and 12 wounded, most of whom were women and children, during airstrikes on homes in the Al-Jarraf neighborhood, leading to the destruction of several residences. The aggression's air force also targeted various strategic locations, including the Economic Corporation's warehouses, citizens' homes in Hadda, and the Ministry of Communications building in Wadi Dhahr, resulting in extensive damage.

Sa'dah Governorate faced significant aerial attacks, with three raids on the Al-Jami'a neighborhood, two on Mount Kahlan, and multiple others across different districts. The aggression continued with multiple airstrikes and artillery shelling in various districts, causing widespread destruction.

The pattern of violence persisted in subsequent years, with each anniversary of July 3 marking further airstrikes and artillery attacks across numerous governorates, resulting in the deaths and injuries of countless civilians, including children and women. The aggressions have caused extensive damage to residential areas, farms, and public infrastructure.

Throughout these years, reports from the Yemen News Agency have highlighted the continuous targeting of civilian areas and the establishment of combat fortifications by mercenaries, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. The relentless airstrikes and shelling have left deep scars in the affected communities, with families mourning the loss of loved ones and struggling to rebuild their lives amid ongoing conflict.

This historical account serves as a somber reminder of the ongoing human cost of military aggression in Yemen, emphasizing the urgent need for peace and accountability for the atrocities committed.
