Women’s Authority in Taiz Governorate Commemorates Noble Mawlid al-Nabawi

Sana'a: The women of Taiz Governorate commemorated today the Mawlid al-Nabawi with a major mass and speech event organized by the Women's Authority, held at the indoor sports hall in Al-Ta'iziyah District. According to Yemen News Agency, the event saw a wide turnout of women, reflecting feelings of joy, pride, and connection to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and affirming adherence to his path, values, and principles, while embodying the faith-based identity of the Yemeni people. Speeches emphasized that the Mawlid commemoration is a renewed spiritual and mobilization station for drawing lessons from the biography of the Seal of the Prophets, who was sent as a guide, bearer of glad tidings, and warner to lead humanity from darkness to the light of faith, justice, and guidance. The wide attendance reflects the depth of loyalty, love, and connection to the Greatest Messenger (PBUH), and the awareness of Yemeni women of the importance of adhering to authentic faith-based identity and following the Muhammadan pa th in facing challenges and conspiracies targeting the nation's values and principles. Participants affirmed that the gathering is a message of loyalty, love, and veneration for the Messenger of God (PBUH), renewing the covenant to follow his path, emulate his biography, and adhere to his teachings. Speeches noted that campaigns to discourage, mislead, and question the legitimacy of celebrating the Mawlid have only increased Yemenis'-especially Yemeni women's-determination to honor and commemorate this occasion. They affirmed that loving, honoring, and obeying the Greatest Messenger is a faith-based duty and a practical embodiment of loyalty to the Prophet of mercy, who endured hardship to guide humanity from the worship of servants to the worship of the Lord of Servants. The Mawlid al-Nabawi is an occasion to renew connection to the Greatest Messenger and recall the nation's responsibility to carry his message and values. Yemenis, through their wide celebration, demonstrate their leading position among t he nation's peoples in expressing love, veneration, and loyalty to the Messenger of God (PBUH). The women of Taiz affirmed that emulating the Messenger of God and his pure household represents an approach to strengthening values of dignity, freedom, and honor, and steadfastness in confronting the forces of arrogance and aggression, and countering all forms of hegemony and guardianship. The event featured poetic recitals, chanting segments, and religious hymns expressing joy at the Mawlid and embodying love, loyalty, and emulation of the Messenger of God (PBUH).
