Sana'a: In response to repeated American and Zionist insults against the Noble Quran and the nation's sanctities, the Yemeni people have mobilized officially and popularly in anger over the criminal actions targeting the holiest of sanctities, "the Noble Quran."
According to Yemen News Agency, millions of Yemenis gathered in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a and in squares across various governorates and districts to denounce the crime of insult. Yemen's scholars met to champion the Quran, express outrage at the repeated abuses against it, and reject what an American criminal, a candidate for the Senate, did - a systematic and deliberate insult to the Book of Allah.
To establish the proof against silent scholars regarding the crime, Yemen's scholars confirmed in their extraordinary meeting on Saturday that whoever insults the Book of Allah Almighty, his blood is lawfully forfeited. They considered the insult an additional proof against the idle and onlookers who did not stir, and a crime and a stain of disgrace on their foreheads, foremost among them the scholars of the nation, and religious institutions and organizations.
The Mufti of Yemen - President of the Scholars League, Allamah Shamsuddin Sharafuddin, affirmed that the scholars of the nation, foremost among them the scholars of Al-Azhar, the Two Holy Mosques, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, are concerned with clarifying various legal issues, foremost among them those who insult the Quran and the nation's sanctities.
He pointed out that the Noble Quran is subjected to repeated insults, while the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation are mired in the mud of corruption and misguidance and preoccupied with entertainment, match games, and invented seasons, as if the matter does not concern the Arab and Islamic regimes, as if the regimes are tasked with distracting the peoples, distancing them from their religion, and separating them from the Book of their Lord and the Sunnah of the Noble Prophet, prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
He said, "We praise Allah that Yemen - leadership, government, people, scholars, elites, intellectuals, thinkers, academics, university and school students, and women - have zeal and fervor for the religion and the Quran, unlike the lost and submissive peoples of the nation, who are subservient to agent and treacherous rulers."
Allamah Sharafuddin called on the scholars of the nation to shoulder their duty in protecting the religion and creed, championing the Book of Allah and Islamic sanctities, and restraining the enemies and deterring anyone who insults or practices provocative actions and racist behaviors against the nation and its sanctities.
For his part, member of the Yemen Scholars League, Allamah Muhammad Allaw, expressed pride and honor in the positions of the Yemeni people who mobilized all their energies to champion the Noble Quran and reject all insults to which Islamic sanctities are subjected.
He said, "We praise Allah for our people with their leadership, scholars, tribes, and their solidarity against the enemies who insulted Allah and His Noble Book, the holiest of Islamic sanctities." He affirmed that the Noble Quran today is subjected to insults that require the nation and its scholars to clarify the truth and protect the religion and the Clear Book.
He added: "We know with certainty that the honor, glory, and dignity of the nation lie in the Book of Allah, which Allah challenged mankind and jinn with, as stated in His saying, the Almighty: 'Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like, even if they assisted one another."'"
He urged scholars to continue their enlightening, educational, and awareness-raising role within society, especially in light of the current stage in which the nation is exposed to an intellectual and cultural war and attempts to erase the faithful identity. He pointed out that Yemen is targeted by enemies more significantly due to its honorable position in supporting the Palestinian cause and aiding Gaza.
For his part, member of the Scholars League, Allamah Ibrahim Al-Jalal, affirmed the duty of scholars in facing the campaigns of insult to which Islam is subjected, foremost among them the Book of Allah Almighty.
He said, "The duty of scholars is greater than others in clarifying the hatred of the American, the Israeli, the British, and Western countries for Muslims and their hatred for Islam and the Quran." He affirmed that the American distortion who placed the Book of Allah in a pig's mouth is from the descendants of apes and pigs and worshipers of the Taghut (false deity).
He questioned, "What do the sons of the nation expect from the American, the British, and the Israeli, other than campaigns of insult against the religion, the Quran, and Islam? Scholars must clarify to people based on the Noble Quran, which mentioned that the Jews are the strongest in enmity toward the believers."
Allamah Al-Jalal demanded that the scholars of Yemen and the nation continue preaching, guidance, enjoining good, and forbidding evil, pointing out that decades have passed without the sons of the nation knowing from them the strongest enmity against them.
He stressed the necessity of people returning to the Noble Quran, through which they will triumph over the enemies, and no matter the enemy's capabilities and equipment, they will be defeated before the nation of Islam and the Quran.
Meanwhile, member of the Scholars League, Sheikh Jubri Ibrahim, summarized the foundations and constants of religion in faith in Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, the Noble Messenger, prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and following him, and the Noble Book, which is the life methodology for the nation in this world and the Hereafter.
He said: "If the nation is lenient in one of the foundations and constants, it has no religion, because religion is based on those constants, and the Noble Quran by its text represents the honor of the nation, and if we lose it, we lose our honor, as Allah Almighty said: 'And We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention.' That is, your honor. And Allah Almighty said, addressing the Noble Prophet: 'And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you will be questioned.'"
Sheikh Jubri explained that the nation without the Noble Quran is without honor, adding, "If the nation is violated in its honor and its honor in the Noble Quran, then what remains after that? The nation is obligated to protect the Book of Allah, but it is lost between two groups: a group whose conscience and sense are lost and no longer feels, and another group anesthetized by its enemy, and none remain except a small believing faction that defends the religion and the Noble Quran."
He pointed out that the believing faction will not remain silent in the face of racist practices against the religion and the Noble Quran, especially the scholars who are the heirs of the prophets, questioning, "Why are the scholars silent? Allah has taken a covenant from them as stated in His saying, the Almighty: 'Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse.'"
Sheikh Jubri Ibrahim called on scholars, religious sheikhs, intellectuals, and academics to champion the Noble Quran through position, pen, and word, and for scholars to clarify the truth.
For his part, member of the Scholars League, Sheikh Ali Al-Mutari, praised Yemen's position, officially and popularly, in confronting the enemies who mock the Quran and the Noble Prophet, and stands against the heinous acts committed by the Zionists with their continuous insults to the nation, foremost among them the Noble Quran.
He affirmed that the American who placed the Book of Allah in a pig's mouth, as an electoral advertisement, expresses the continuous enmity and hatred of Jews for Islam and Muslims, who are the strongest in enmity toward those who believe. He explained that Jews, past and present, are the enemies of Allah and Islam, and they are the murderers of prophets. They do not understand making agreements or concluding understandings; rather, they understand the language of killing and torturing them, as Allah Almighty said: "Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them."
Sheikh Al-Mutari indicated that hatred has led the Jews and the descendants of apes and pigs to mock the Book of Allah and His great words, which are preserved by Allah's preservation. He explained that the Quran is the soul of the nation, and without it, it lives a death in the image of the living.
He said: "Unfortunately, the Arab and Islamic nation, despite its large numbers and capabilities, we have not heard from it a voice, a word, a denunciation, or a condemnation as usual regarding the American insult to the Book of Allah Almighty, while the people of Yemen stand in a position that pleases Allah because they are the soul of the Most Merciful and live in the embrace of the Quran."
He stressed the necessity that the nation realizes that its glory, dignity, and victory lie in the Noble Quran, protecting it, preserving it, and translating it into reality and action. He pointed out that the enemies have dared in their repeated insults to the Book of Allah only because they knew that the nation is divided, fragmented, and preoccupied away from the Quran and the light of guidance, glory, and dignity.
No matter how much the enemies strive to distort the image of Islam and insult the nation's sanctities, the Noble Quran will remain preserved from distortion, alteration, and tampering, and this is a divine promise until the Day
