Yemeni Armed Forces Conduct Major Strikes Inside Saudi Arabia

Riyadh:Yemen Armed forces executed a series of specialized military operations deep within Saudi territory in response to recent Saudi airstrikes on Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, the operations were carried out following 124 Saudi airstrikes targeting Sana'a, Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Al-Hodeida, and Saada. These attacks have contributed to a total of 2,058 airstrikes since the escalation began, resulting in numerous casualties, predominantly among women and children.

In the past 24 hours, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched four targeted operations using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. The first operation, executed in three phases, targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, leading to the disruption of air traffic and a complete airport closure.

The second operation struck the Shugadam gas facility owned by Aramco in the Eastern Province, causing significant fires. The third targeted the Aramco Tanajib oil refinery, resulting in a fire at the site. Additionally, the fourth operation hit King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, disrupting air traffic.

Yemeni forces also targeted Saudi military positions in the Ras al-Ara and al-Saqiya areas with six ballistic missiles and two drones, reportedly killing and wounding dozens of Saudi troops. Moreover, Yemeni forces engaged Saudi aerial formations with surface-to-air missiles, forcing them to retreat.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have issued a warning to international companies, experts, employees, workers, and travelers to avoid flights to Saudi airports, citing safety concerns, except for those in Mecca and Medina. They emphasized their strategy of matching Saudi actions with equivalent responses until the aggression ceases and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
