Sana'a: The Ministry of Information held a protest on Wednesday condemning and denouncing the Saudi attack on Sana'a International Airport. Participants, including Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, senior officials, and employees, condemned what they described as Saudi authorities' continued imposition of a blockade on Yemen's airports and ports, particularly Sana'a Airport, which they said is a vital civilian facility enabling Yemenis to travel abroad.

According to Yemen News Agency, the protestors considered the targeting of Sana'a International Airport a violation of Yemen's sovereignty, the UN Charter, international law, and relevant agreements, including the 1944 Chicago Convention, which prohibits attacks on civilian airports. A statement issued during the protest affirmed the ministry's support for the armed forces' response to Saudi actions, expressed backing for missile, air, and naval forces, and renewed support for the leadership of Abdulmalik al-Houthi.

The statement also praised Iran for sending an aircraft to Sana'a Airport, describing it as a move to break the blockade. It reaffirmed support for Gaza and the 'unity of fronts' approach. The statement stressed continued mobilization and readiness across various fields, including training programs, demonstrations, and public activities, calling for unity to confront what it described as occupation, and to achieve Yemen's independence and sovereignty.
