Al-wahdah district: Al-Amin Neighborhood team from Al-Wahdah District in the Capital Secretariat emerged victorious as champions of the Great Prophet's Cup for youth football. This triumph was part of the Prophet's Birthday tournament, which spanned two weeks and included the participation of six teams.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Amin clinched the title by defeating the Al-Balili Neighborhood team with a score of 3-1 in the final match held at the Summer Center Stadium. The first half concluded with a 1-1 draw, but Al-Amin surged ahead in the second half, scoring two additional goals to secure the championship.
The tournament was meticulously organized by the district's Youth Office and supervised by the Capital Secretariat's Youth and Sports Office. It received significant support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as the Capital Secretariat, highlighting a collaborative effort to promote youth engagement in sports.
