Al-aqiyous: Residents of Al-Aqiyous sub-district in Sharab Al-Salam district of Taiz governorate held a speech evening on Thursday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, emphasized the importance of this occasion, noting the role of Prophet Muhammad in guiding humanity from darkness into light. He encouraged drawing lessons from the Prophet's life to confront tyrants and power abusers.
Al-Masawi highlighted the occasion as a testament to the Yemeni people's love and loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad, showcasing their adherence to his noble life and example. He urged both official and community efforts to actively participate in such events, ensuring celebrations and expressions of joy are widespread across neighborhoods and communities.
Sharab Al-Salam District Director, Ahmed Al-Qaisi, also addressed the gathering. He noted the strong community participation as a reflection of Yemenis' deep emotional connection to the Prophet and their dedication to following his morals, principles, and values. Al-Qaisi stressed the occasion's role in reinforcing religious identity and upholding Islamic values, drawing lessons of dignity, freedom, and steadfastness from the Prophet's life.
