Ibb University Wraps Up Clinical Exams for Fourth-Year Medical Students in Internal Medicine

Ibb: The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ibb University, in collaboration with the Educational Authority of Al-Thawra Hospital, has successfully concluded the final clinical examinations for fourth-year students in the Department of Internal Medicine.

According to Yemen News Agency, the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Hajili, highlighted that these clinical examinations are crucial for assessing students' academic achievements and practical skills. They play a vital role in translating theoretical knowledge into professional clinical practices. Dr. Al-Hajili emphasized the significance of leveraging observations and recommendations from external evaluation committees to implement developmental measures that enhance the educational process and improve the quality of its outputs.

Dr. Al-Hajili further stated that the university is committed to advancing its academic and applied programs in the medical field. The institution aims to strengthen integration between the faculty and the teaching hospital to provide students with a training environment that equips them with essential clinical skills. This preparation is intended to qualify students to fulfill their professional and humanitarian responsibilities in serving the community and the health sector.

He commended the efforts of external evaluation committees from the universities of Sana'a, Taiz, Al-Hodeida, and Jiblah, as well as the internal evaluation committee from the faculty's staff and the leadership and staff of the Educational Authority of Al-Thawra Hospital. Their dedication to preparing, implementing, and supervising the examinations was acknowledged as a critical factor in ensuring the quality of medical education and raising the level of academic and professional performance.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Bashir Al-Amawi, expressed that the scientific and practical prowess displayed by the students during the examinations is a testament to the efforts invested in their preparation and training. This serves as motivation to continue developing the educational process and clinical training, ultimately producing qualified medical graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competence.
