Dhamar: Abdullah al-Atifi, Executive Director of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Organization, conducted an inspection of the operations at the Dhamar Control Center. During his visit, he was briefed by the center's directors, Fahd Hazza and Youssef al-Zera'i, on various performance levels, implementation of regulatory and technical tasks, and the challenges faced by the center.

According to Yemen News Agency, al-Atifi discussed potential solutions and remedies to overcome these challenges and enhance performance efficiency. He emphasized the need for improved regulatory work and increased efforts to protect consumers by preventing the entry of goods that do not meet approved specifications and standards. Al-Atifi praised the center's staff for their dedication to regulatory work amid existing challenges.

He called for renewed efforts to expedite and simplify procedures to improve service levels and ensure the smooth flow of goods. Al-Atifi highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between Dhamar Customs and the Control Center, advocating for a more integrated approach to roles.
