Muscat: The Prophet's Birthday Football Tournament concluded in Qa'tabah district of Al-Dhale' governorate on Saturday. Eight teams participated in the 15-day tournament, organized by the governorate's Youth and Sports Office in cooperation with its branch in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Capital team emerged victorious, claiming the championship cup after defeating the Falcons Youth team 3-1 in the final match. The decisive game took place at the Qa'tabah Youth Sports Club stadium.
During the closing ceremony, Hashim Al-Nahham, Director of the District Youth and Sports Office, presented the Capital team with the championship cup and gold medals. The Falcons Youth team received the runner-up cup and silver medals.
