Al-hodeida: The "Greatest Messenger" football league competitions concluded today in Al-Hali District, Al-Hodeida Governorate. The tournament was organized by the Sports Committee of Al-Salkhana Square, with the Friends of Al-Amir team crowned as champions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Friends of Al-Amir team secured the championship title after winning the final match against the Al-Sammad Academy team in a match characterized by competitiveness, enthusiasm, and exchanged attacks, before Friends of Al-Amir decided the result in their favor.
The league competitions were held with the participation of sports groups from the residents of Al-Salkhana Square, as part of the sports events held in celebration of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi).
Following the match, a honoring ceremony was held in the presence of the Mobilization official of Al-Salkhana Square, Mansour Al-Qadi, along with social and sports figures. The Friends of Al-Amir team was presented with the league cup and medals, while the Al-Sammad Academy team, which finished in second place, as well as the organizing committee and the tournament referees, were also honored.
