Al-dhale': The educational sector in Al-Hasha District, Al-Dhalea Governorate, convened an extensive meeting on Thursday, led by Acting Governor Abdulatif Al-Shagdari, to strategize mobilization efforts and form organizational committees for the upcoming central celebration of the Prophet's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures such as District Director Ahmed Sufyan, Mobilization Official Abdulbasit Wajihuddin, Educational Sector Official Mohsen Sufyan, and school principals throughout the district. The assembly focused on the significance of collaborative efforts in arranging the central Mawlid celebration.
Al-Shagdari emphasized that commemorating the birth of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, serves as an expression of gratitude to God. He highlighted the continuity of this tradition among Yemenis, tracing back to their ancestors from the Aws and Khazraj who first welcomed the Prophet in Medina.
Moreover, Al-Shagdari lauded the unwavering spirit of the Yemeni people in maintaining their faith-based values and supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza, who are enduring severe hardship that challenges the global conscience.
The meeting underscored the critical role of the educational sector in rejuvenating this cherished occasion, urging greater efforts and mobilization to secure broad participation.
Participants affirmed that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is pivotal in fortifying the bond with the Prophet, adhering to his teachings and morals, and bolstering the unity, pride, and strength of the Islamic nation.
