Al-Mahwit:Schools in Al-Mahwit city have organized student gatherings to denounce the actions of the Saudi regime and express support for the victories of the armed forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, students and teachers at these gatherings criticized the Saudi regime for escalating aggression and maintaining a siege in what they described as a desperate attempt to conceal its defeats. They highlighted ongoing crimes, including attacks on the educational sector.
The participants pointed out the impact of the aggression, particularly on students, mentioning victims like the students of Dhiyan and Ishraq Al-Ma'afa, as well as the attack on female students in Bani Hushaysh. They emphasized that these incidents are part of a broader pattern of violence against educational institutions, and stressed that the loss of students' lives would not be forgotten, affirming their determination to defend their land and dignity.
The statement from the gatherings condemned these crimes against the Yemeni people, criticized international inaction, and urged human rights organizations to pressure the Security Council to protect civilians and educational facilities.
Gratitude was expressed for the armed forces' successes in repelling Saudi forces and reclaiming territory. The statement reaffirmed the Yemeni people's commitment to liberation and support for national and international causes, including the Palestinian issue, and called for unity in opposition to occupation until full sovereignty is achieved.
