Sana'a: Al-Tahrir District in the Capital Secretariat commemorated the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi) with a number of events and cultural evenings. Residents of the Blood Bank neighborhood in Hayy Al-Kuwait, Al-Qa' Al-Awsat in Hayy Al-Qa', and Al-Sayyad and Al-Rahma in Hayy 26 September organized evening events, while community meetings were held in the Electricity neighborhood in Hayy Al-Zira'a, Al-Qa' Al-Shamali, and Bab Al-Rum in Hayy 26 September.
According to Yemen News Agency, some of the evenings were attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat, Abdul Latif Al-Omari, the District Director Naji Al-Shi'ani, the Mobilization official Abdul Latif Al-Wali, and local, executive, and mobilization leaders, as well as social figures and tribal leaders. The speeches considered this great occasion a station to be enriched with prophetic guidance, to renew the nation's connection to its Greatest Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran, and to emulate the values, principles, and noble prophetic biography, embodying them in all aspects of life.
They affirmed that these celebrations, which distinguish the Yemeni people on the Mawlid al-Nabawi, are an extension of the deep love and loyalty that characterized their forefathers, the Ansar, who sheltered, supported, and honored the noble Prophet at a time when many in Mecca denied him, fought him, and abandoned him. The speeches called on everyone to mobilize widely and attend the grand central event celebrating the Mawlid al-Nabawi at Al-Sabeen Square on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
