Al-jawf: Water, electricity, engineering sectors hold event to mark Prophet's Birthday: The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Al-Jawf governorate, alongside branches of the Water Resources and Facilities Authority, the Rural Water Projects Authority, Al-Jawf Electricity District, and the governorate's Technical Engineering Unit, organized a speech event to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event saw the attendance of notable figures including Dr. Mohammed Al-Dahsha, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Applied Sciences in the governorate; Mansour Al-Qasimi, Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation; and Ghalib Kazman, Director of the branch of the Water Resources and Facilities Authority. Speakers at the event emphasized the significance of this commemoration, drawing lessons from the Prophet's noble biography and advocating for the emulation of his morals and values to reinforce a faith-based identity within society.
The speakers highlighted the importance of utilizing the religious occasion to learn from the teachings of the Prophet and to implement these teachings in practice by providing services to citizens and alleviating their suffering. They referred to the commemoration as a spiritual opportunity to renew loyalty and adherence to the righteous Prophetic path.
Furthermore, the speakers urged the audience to embody the Prophet's noble character and values in their conduct and work, particularly in delivering essential services to citizens, with a focus on water and sanitation services. They mentioned that commemorating the Prophet's birthday offers an opportunity to renew commitment to the Prophetic message and to emulate the Prophet's character, particularly his values of struggle and steadfastness.
Participants affirmed that the commemoration reflects the strong attachment of the people of Al-Jawf and Yemenis to the Prophet, their commitment to following his example, and their adherence to his guidance. They noted that celebrating this religious occasion strengthens steadfastness, social solidarity, and unity in facing challenges.
