Hodeida: A total of 504 patients benefited from the free medical camp for heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes at al-Thawra General Hospital in Hodeida province. The two-day camp coincided with the celebration of the Prophet's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp offered comprehensive services including medical examinations, free medications, consultations in clinical pharmacy and therapeutic nutrition, and a 50% discount on lab tests and ECGs.
Dr. Khalid Suhail, Head of the Hospital Authority, praised the staff's dedication and highlighted the collaboration with pharmaceutical companies supporting the initiative. Dr. Adel Jubran, camp director, emphasized the camp's role in promoting health awareness and enhancing humanitarian medical services in the governorate.
The camp is part of ongoing initiatives to provide free healthcare and strengthen community solidarity despite the challenges facing the health sector.
