Tax & Water Authority Hold Event in Al-Bayda to Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Al-bayda: The Tax Sector, along with the branches of the Executive Unit for Qat Sales Taxes, Property Revenue, and the Water and Sanitation Authority in Al-Bayda, organized on Wednesday a ceremonial event to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Governor's Deputy Saleh Al-Mansouri emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet, describing it as a pivotal moment in Islamic history that reinforces noble values such as love, mercy, and justice, as taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He noted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reflects genuine commitment to the Muhammadan message.

Al-Mansouri highlighted Yemen's firm and principled stance on the Palestinian cause, stressing that supporting the people of Gaza is both a religious and moral duty. He described the commemoration as a reaffirmation of standing for truth and confronting injustice, noting that the people of the governorate observe the occasion with religious awareness, reflecting their adherence to authentic Muhammadan Islam and perseverance in facing challenges.

He further stated that Yemenis have always been at the forefront in honoring the Prophet (PBUH) and his banner, drawing from his noble life lessons the highest values of steadfastness and resilience.

The event was attended by Governor's Deputy Mohammed Al-Humaikani, officials from the Executive Unit for Qat Sales Taxes, Ali Al-Taifi, and the Executive Unit for Property Revenue Taxes, Adel Atif. Hafiz Al-Kabbasi, head of the Tax Sector, spoke about the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth, stressing the need to honor this occasion, which reconnects the nation with the source of its dignity and pride.

Al-Kabbasi highlighted the importance of the event as an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life in building communities and reforming individuals. He noted that the Prophet's birthday is commemorated amidst global conspiracies against the Islamic nation and concerning Arab silence in the face of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people. He described the occasion as a renewed spiritual moment to strengthen the bond with the Prophet's timeless message and to promote values of justice, mercy, and unity.

Mustafa Al-Sayyid, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, described the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity to reinforce Yemeni unity against aggression and siege, drawing lessons of perseverance and steadfastness from the Prophet's life in supporting the oppressed and repelling aggressors.
