Amran: Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman, accompanied by Director of the Civil Service and Administrative Development Office in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Wadaei, inspected the level of employee attendance and work discipline in several government offices and institutions on the first working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Jaaman and Al-Wadaei assessed employee attendance and commitment at various offices, including Social Affairs and Labor, the Water Corporation, the Tax Office, the Zakat Authority branch, the Finance Office, and Al-Sammad Martyr Hospital Authority. They received updates from directors of government agencies and administrators on attendance, absence rates, and the mechanisms employed to resume work and public services post-holiday.
The governor emphasized the importance of job discipline as essential for enhancing institutional performance and improving public service quality. He called for intensified efforts to facilitate procedures and transactions, ensuring prompt and effective service delivery to citizens.
Governor Jaaman commended the discipline observed across executive offices and institutions, noting that employees' prompt return reflects their awareness of their responsibilities and dedication to serving citizens amid national challenges. He highlighted the role of continued discipline in strengthening public confidence in government institutions and improving service quality, urging administrative authorities to maintain this commitment to achieve development objectives.
Ahmed Al-Wadaei reported a 95 percent attendance rate on the first day post-Eid, indicating a high level of commitment across government entities. He noted that inspection teams continue field visits to various units to strengthen administrative oversight and promote workplace discipline, aiming to enhance government efficiency and responsiveness to citizens' needs.
The inspection was accompanied by several directors and deputy directors from various government offices, reflecting a collaborative effort to ensure administrative discipline and service quality across the governorate.
