Bajil: The local authority and General Mobilization Office in Bajil district, in collaboration with the Central Agricultural Zone and Bajil Multi-Purpose Cooperative Agricultural Association, organized an evening event to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Member of Parliament Yasser Mazriya and Province Undersecretary for the Eastern Districts, Amer Muthanna Amer, who emphasized the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He noted it as an occasion to reflect on the Prophet Muhammad's life and the values and principles he imparted. He also urged the residents of Bajil District to participate in the central celebration at Al-Shaheed Al-Sammad Square in Hodeidah City.
Hussein Al-Qudaimi, director of Shaheed Al-Qur'an School, spoke about the Prophet's esteemed status in the Muslim community and the importance of his birthday in remembering and following his guidance. He underscored the need to maintain the religious identity and values introduced by the Prophet.
Bajil District Director Abdulmunim Al-Rifai commended the district's commemorative activities, which included illuminated processions and initiatives to spread awareness about the Prophet's life and values, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
Sheikh Mohammed Shara'i, representing the scholars, highlighted the Prophet's standing and the significance of commemorating his birthday as a time to renew understanding of his life and teachings, reinforcing religious and moral values within the community.
