Beit al-faqih: Beit al-Faqih Central Hospital honored its nursing staff during a ceremony held on International Nurses Day, recognizing their vital humanitarian contributions to healthcare services.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches from several notable figures, including Hodeida undersecretary for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi, who praised the efforts of healthcare workers, particularly nurses. Halisi highlighted their dedication and resilience under current conditions, describing it as a model of humanitarian service.
Assistant undersecretary for southern districts Affairs, Mutahhar al-Hadi, emphasized the importance of the nursing profession, stating that the recognition reflects appreciation for the sincere efforts of nursing staff across health facilities.
Sheikh Ali Somel, head of the Scholars Unit in the governorate, also spoke at the event, underscoring the ethical and humanitarian values inherent in the nursing profession. He noted that caring for patients represents one of the highest forms of public service.
Beit al-Faqih District Director Hussein Zein concluded the ceremony by acknowledging the central role nurses play in improving healthcare services. He also commended the efforts of the local health office and hospital administration in enhancing medical performance.
