Sana'a: The leadership of the Central Security Forces in Sana'a convened on Saturday to deliberate on measures aimed at securing and safeguarding the sites designated for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday festivities. The discussions also focused on ensuring smooth transit and movement throughout the celebrations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, led by Central Security Forces Commander Col. Hussein Al-Mahdi, resulted in the approval of assigning specialized personnel to devise and implement a comprehensive security plan. This plan includes raising readiness levels, increasing deployments, and securing all celebration venues to guarantee the safety of participants.
Col. Al-Mahdi also addressed the challenges faced by security personnel in executing their duties and emphasized the need for addressing their requirements within the scope of available resources. Chief of Staff Col. Fouad Al-Qahtani highlighted the importance of heightened vigilance and responsibility to uphold security and stability during the events.
Additionally, Operations Chief Col. Abdulfattah Sabr presented the key components of the security plan, underscoring the necessity for full coordination among units to ensure the efficient arrival and safety of those attending the celebrations.
