Civil Service Ministry Reviews Implementation Arrangements for 1448 AH Plan

Sana'a: The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development reviewed the necessary arrangements for implementing its general plan for the 1448 AH fiscal year during a meeting chaired by Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, emphasizing performance monitoring, institutional efficiency, and improvements in public services.

According to Yemen News Agency, the ministry's council meeting, attended by Deputy Ministers Shukri Abdul Mawla for Organization Affairs and Ali Al-Kabsi for Public Service Affairs, discussed mechanisms for follow-up, evaluation, and performance measurement to ensure the effective implementation of the ministry's plan and the achievement of its objectives within approved timelines.

Participants also reviewed the ministry's annual report for 1447 AH, including achievements, performance indicators, and progress across various administrative development programs and projects. The council commended efforts made in implementing activities aligned with the ministry's responsibilities, strategic goals, and reform plans.

The meeting examined key challenges facing the ministry, proposed solutions, and opportunities for continued improvement aimed at enhancing institutional performance, increasing productivity, accelerating transaction processing, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.

The council stressed the importance of further simplifying procedures, reducing processing times, and minimizing documentation requirements to deliver more efficient, accessible, and higher-quality services. These measures, officials said, would contribute to greater beneficiary satisfaction and an improved public service experience.

Discussions also covered operational performance indicators, progress in implementing ministry activities, institutional performance levels, workflow across different sectors, and measures to improve resource utilization and strengthen coordination among organizational units.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Hawali called for a tangible qualitative shift in the implementation of the ministry's plans, programs, and initiatives, stressing that such progress should directly enhance service quality and improve the execution of projects and responsibilities under the ministry's mandate.

He underscored the importance of making the new Hijri year a distinguished period of achievement and performance, urging adherence to approved objectives and indicators, stronger accountability and follow-up mechanisms, and teamwork to translate strategic goals into measurable results.

The council approved a number of decisions and directives and instructed relevant departments to ensure their implementation according to established timelines, with the aim of achieving the ministry's objectives and enhancing the efficiency of its institutional performance and public services.
