Closing Event at Central Prison in Sana’a Governorate on Occasion of Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: The closing event commemorating the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family, was held today at the Central Prison in Sana'a Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures, including the head of the department's advisor, Hamoud Al-Hadi, and directors of various departments such as projects, internal affairs, and public relations. Brigadier General Mohammed Atfallah, Brigadier General Yahya Salah, and Jihad Al-Wazir were among the attendees, alongside planning director Abdul Rahim Al-Samawi and the deputy director of the Central Prison in the capital, Colonel Mohammed Al-Houri.

Abdul Rahman Al-Marouni, the director of guidance at the prison, delivered a speech on behalf of the director of the Central Prison in the governorate, Captain Asaad Al-Bakri. In his speech, Al-Marouni highlighted the importance of drawing inspiration from the life of Prophet Muhammad, focusing on his faith-based and jihad-related stances in various aspects of life. He emphasized the religious, humanitarian, and historical dimensions of the occasion, noting the transformative impact of Muhammad's message on societal concepts and values, encouraging justice, integration, and Quranic ethics.

Further speeches at the event stressed the significance of commemorating this important religious occasion, underlining its spiritual resonance amid current challenges facing the Muslim nation. The speakers urged emulation of the Prophet Muhammad in promoting good and countering evil, and in confronting tyranny and corruption, stressing the necessity for the Arab and Islamic nations to follow the Prophet's teachings and those of his family.

The event, which also included songs and poems, was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Central Security Forces in the governorate, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Tarmah, Director of the November 30th Department, Colonel Ali Heba, Director of the Joint Operations Room, Ahmed Al-Hadi, Deputy Director of the Governorate Correctional Facility, Captain Ayman Dhab'an, and numerous officers and personnel.
