Speech Evening for Service Offices in Hodeida Commemorates Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: The offices of Economy, Industry and Investment, Culture and Tourism, the Industrial Zone, the Chamber of Commerce, and the branch of the General Investment Authority in Hodeida Governorate organized a speech and cultural evening to commemorate the Prophet's birthday under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures such as Attorney General Judge Abdul Salam al-Houthi and Member of Parliament Mohammed al-Barai. The First Deputy Governor, Ahmed al-Bashari, described the Prophet's birthday as a unifying event for the nation, emphasizing its role in redefining guidance, redirecting focus towards the authentic Muhammadan approach, and strengthening adherence to the divine project amidst attempts at erasure and alienation.

Al-Bashari elaborated on the anniversary being a spiritual milestone for renewing the covenant with Allah and His Messenger, urging efforts to enhance awareness of its significance. He highlighted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday signifies adherence to the values brought by the Greatest Messenger, which serve as a path to salvation during challenging times. He called for positive engagement with the events to present a constructive image of the people of Hodeida.

Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, further reviewed the occasion's significance, noting its profound spiritual meanings that reinforce the Yemeni people's connection to the life and values of the Prophet Muhammad. He emphasized that commemorating this occasion reflects loyalty to the Prophet's message and unity against challenges, urging inspiration from the Prophet's steadfastness and sacrifice.

Saleh Atifa, Director of the Economy, Industry, and Investment Office, speaking on behalf of the organizing bodies, affirmed that the Prophet's birthday is an opportunity to revive the spirit of jihad and stand with national causes such as Palestine. He explained that the commemoration renews in people's hearts the inspiration drawn from the Prophet's life, strengthening Islamic values in behavior and practice.

The evening witnessed the participation of various dignitaries, including the Head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution, Judge Ahmed Al-Shami, the Director of Security for the Governorate, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, and other executive, military, and security leaders. The program included poetry recitations, songs, an operetta, and a play, contributing to the cultural and spiritual enrichment of the event.
