Conclusion of Ramadan Cultural, Sports Competitions at Al-Hilal Club in Hodeidah

Hodeidah: The Ramadan cultural and sports competitions organized by Al-Hilal Coastal Club concluded in the city of Hodeidah. The events were held in coordination with the governorate leadership, the Public Mobilization Authority, and the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the closing and award ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor for Services Affairs Mohammed Hulaissi and Director of the Youth and Sports Office Imad Al-Barai. During the event, the winning teams and outstanding players across various sports and cultural competitions were honored, along with recognition of the organizing committees, in the presence of a large audience.

The ceremony featured skillful and entertaining performances by the club's parkour team that impressed attendees and reflected the level of preparation and training among the club's youth. Deputy Governor Hulaissi praised Al-Hilal Club's pioneering role in engaging youth and channeling their energies through Qur'an competitions as well as diverse sports and cultural activities during the holy month. He emphasized the importance of such events in developing young people's abilities, refining their talents, and promoting a spirit of positive competition and creativity.

Hulaissi also commended the efforts of the club's administration and organizing committees in ensuring the success of these activities and presenting them in a manner that contributes to strengthening youth and serving the community. Club President Abdullah Khairat expressed appreciation for the support and attention given by the governorate leadership and the Youth and Sports Office to the club and its activities. He noted that this year's competitions witnessed broad participation from club members and athletes, reflecting the club's commitment to promoting sports and cultural engagement among youth.

The Ramadan activities involved around 550 participants and included Qur'an competitions (categories of 5, 10, and 20 parts, and the full Qur'an), a cultural competition, and tournaments in table tennis, football, parkour, taekwondo, chess, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and basketball.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the deputy governor, the director of the Youth and Sports Office, and the club president honored the champions and winners with trophies, medals, certificates of appreciation, and financial rewards, while also recognizing the supporting entities and committees that contributed to the success of the events.
