Sana'a: The Higher Institute for Teacher Preparation in Sana'a Governorate organized a massive vigil today to commemorate the annual anniversary of Al-Sarkha, an event symbolizing resistance against arrogance, while also dispatching a financial convoy to support the missile and drone air forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, the vigil was marked by the presence of prominent figures, including the Deputy Minister of Education, Teaching, and Scientific Research for Basic Education, Hadi Ammar. Ammar emphasized that the slogan launched by the martyred leader, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, played a crucial role in restoring national pride and breaking the chains of fear and subservience to foreign influences. He characterized Al-Sarkha as a religious and moral stance against the Zionist-American project and called for ongoing mobilization to confront national adversaries.
Assistant Deputy Minister of Education for Training, Dr. Ahmed Abbas, and Director of Qualification at the ministry, Sharif Al-Sharif, highlighted the significance of commemorating Al-Sarkha's anniversary. They noted that it serves to revive the values and principles championed by the martyred leader, underscoring the importance of educational staff in promoting Quranic culture and strengthening future generations.
A statement from the vigil reiterated the commitment to Al-Sarkha's slogan as a strategy against arrogance, renewing allegiance to the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in supporting national causes. Graduates from the "Holy Jihad" batch of the institute presented a convoy amounting to 2,780,000 Yemeni riyals to reinforce the missile and drone air forces.
Yahya Al-Zaidi, the Dean of the institute, explained that the convoy symbolizes the unity between educational and military efforts, affirming the staff and students' dedication to defending the land and supporting the oppressed in Gaza. Students expressed that the convoy was a modest contribution to the missile and drone forces targeting the Zionist enemy's positions in occupied Palestinian territories.
The event was attended by various officials, including the Advisor to the Ministry, Ali Sharaf al-Din, and deputies from the institute, highlighting the collaboration between academic and educational leaders in this initiative.
