Sana'a: A cultural evening and symposium were held today in Azal District, Sana'a, to commemorate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him) and to express support for the Holy Quran. At the seminar, which was attended by the director of the directorate, Muhammad Al-Ghulaisi, and the directorate's mobilization officer, Abdullah Al-Bahiri, cultural activist Ahmed Al-Mahdi highlighted the significance of celebrating this religious occasion. He emphasized drawing lessons and values from the life of the Prophet, emulating his morals and principles, and adhering to his Quranic teachings.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mahdi stressed that commemorating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets embodies a close connection to the Prophet and the Holy Quran, underlining the importance of integrating his teachings into daily life. He also highlighted the need to strengthen social solidarity, cohesion, and resilience, urging participation in events leading to the central celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
The seminar saw the participation of executive, mobilization, educational, and cultural leaders, alongside social figures and a large crowd from the district. During the event organized by Al-Iman neighborhood residents, Muhammad Al-Ghulaisi emphasized the occasion's importance in drawing values of mercy, cohesion, honor, and dignity from the Prophet's life and adhering to the Holy Quran.
Al-Ghulaisi called for continued mobilization and active participation in the central event. The evening featured recitations and traditional Yemeni dance performances, illustrating the joy of the occasion and the deep respect for the Prophet of Mercy among Yemenis. The district's mobilization officer, Abdullah al-Bahiri, the mobilization officer for the al-Rumah neighborhood, Ahmed Sharaf, and many citizens and residents attended the event.
