Bani al-khayyat: A cultural evening was held today in the Bani Al-Khayyat sub-district of the Al-Tawilah district, Al-Mahwit governorate, to commemorate the Prophet's birthday anniversary, peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured remarks from Abdulghani Al-Darab, head of the Guidance Sector in the governorate, who emphasized the significance of the anniversary as an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's biography, morals, and principles. Al-Darab highlighted the event as a reflection of the Yemeni people's strong connection to the Prophet and their commitment to following his path and teachings.
Al-Darab described the commemoration as a chance to renew the community's commitment to the values and principles of Islam, fostering a spirit of cooperation and solidarity among members. He also urged the residents of Bani Al-Khayyat and the wider Al-Tawilah district to actively participate in the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal at the Greatest Messenger Square in Al-Mahwit city.
The evening, which included cultural segments, was attended by District Director Rashid Marwan, Deputy Security Director Major Hammoud Al-Waisi, and several members of the mobilization committee, alongside local notables and social figures.
