Al-hasaba al-shamaliya: The Soufan neighborhood in Al-Hasaba Al-Shamaliya, Al-Thawra District of the Capital Secretariat, held a cultural evening marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the presence of MP Mohammed Al-Tawqi, Capital Secretariat Planning Committee Chairman Sharaf Al-Hadi, and Assistant Undersecretary Naji Al-Qousi, Shura Council member Dirham Al-Zaakari, Yemeni Scholars Association member Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mahdi, and cultural activist Hussein Adlan spoke about the importance of the occasion in strengthening the bond with the Prophet, following his virtues and noble qualities, which embodied the values of mercy and justice.
The speakers highlighted what they described as enemy schemes and soft wars targeting the nation's faith, identity, and sanctities, stressing that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects the wisdom, deep-rooted faith of Yemeni society and its historic connection to the Prophet and his righteous path.
They also addressed attempts to distort the significance of the religious occasion and distance Muslims from their Prophet and the Holy Quran, which they described as sources of strength in confronting aggression and global arrogance. They stressed that the anniversary provides an opportunity to reinforce the values of love, solidarity, and compassion.
The speakers called for broad mobilization and participation in the major central celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square, in a manner befitting the significance of the occasion, the status of the noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
