Sana'a: The residents of Dhabr Khayrah village in Sanhan and Bani Bahlul District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a cultural and oratorical evening to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the governorate's deputies, Jiran Ghubr and Muhammad Ayedh, and the head of the capital's secretariat, Ali al-Qafri. Dr. Mahdi al-Dhabri delivered a speech encouraging participation in all activities and events, particularly urging attendance at the major central celebration in the capital, Sana'a, on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal.
Dr. al-Dhabri highlighted that the celebrations reflect the people's awareness of their faith and their dedication to reviving religious rituals that connect the nation to its Prophet. He noted that these celebrations counteract the schemes of hostile forces that aim to separate society from the path of prophethood. Activist Abdul Karim Atef discussed the significance of this religious occasion and its place in the hearts of Yemenis, emphasizing their spiritual connection and devotion to the Prophet Muhammad.
Atef also underscored the importance of learning from the Prophet's life and embodying his morals and values in daily life. He emphasized the need to strengthen social cohesion by following the Prophet's example of patience, striving, and benevolence, and by confronting challenges with unity.
The evening, which saw attendance from the head of the Culture Sector, Abdullah Al-Abed, the district director, Ahmed Othman, directors of executive offices, and prominent social figures, featured poetry recitations and expressive songs.
