Cultural Events and Gatherings in Dhamar Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday

Dhamar: Cultural events and evenings were held across Dhamar Governorate in celebration of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, in Dhamar city, gatherings were organized in several neighborhoods, including Al-Nasr, Al-Saleh Obeid, Al-Sallal, and others. A festival was also held in Al-Jarajish Square, incorporating participation from the neighborhoods of Al-Amir, Al-Jadeed, Al-Khair, and Al-Asad.

In Jabal Al-Sharq District, events took place in Al-Jumayhah, Al-Humaytah, and Al-Haddah areas, as well as in the Health and Economy Offices. Students from the Higher Academy of the Quran were involved in organizing a cultural evening. Meanwhile, Al-Ma'eenah area of Al-Manar District, and villages such as 'Umd and Dhi Dhushniyah in 'Anis District, also hosted activities. Additional events unfolded in the villages of Hisn Qadeed, Al-Lasi, Zubul, and Humah Suleiman in Mifa'ah 'Anis District. In Maghrib 'Anis District, a cultural event was organized alongside a meeting in the educational sector.

In Wasab Al-Safil District, the Health Office, Agriculture Sector, and Rural Hospital organized a speech event, while preparatory meetings by the Mobilization Committee occurred in Bani Ali and neighborhoods like Bani Ghashim, Bani Hay, and Mushrafah. The Lands, Survey, and Urban Planning Authority branch held a cultural evening, and Dhamar University's Faculty of Administrative Sciences conducted a cultural seminar. The Security Departments in Atamah and Al-Manar Districts hosted speech events as well.

The educational sector saw a variety of student activities, including school broadcasts, decorations, and wall writings in schools across the governorate. Public streets, offices, governmental and private institutions, mosques, and commercial shops were adorned with lights, posters, and messages commemorating the occasion.
