Sana'a: The General Authority for Awqaf Office and the Guidance Sector in Amran governorate organized a commemorative event on Saturday marking the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birthday. During the event, Deputy Governor Hassan al-Ashqass highlighted aspects of the Prophet's life, character, and virtues, focusing on his patience and steadfastness in delivering the divine message in obedience to Allah's commands.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor al-Ashqass emphasized that celebrating this occasion sends a clear message of Yemenis' determination to confront the forces of aggression, liberate their land, and continue supporting the oppressed Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
The event also featured remarks from member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, scholar Mohammed al-Makhadhi, and Director of the Awqaf Office, Abdullah Al-Jarmouzi. They both stressed the spiritual and social significance of the Prophet's birthday and called for greater mobilization to honor the occasion.
Al-Jarmouzi further elaborated on the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life, urging followers to emulate his values and principles. He contrasted the hostile stance of Jews and arrogant powers towards the Prophet's mission with the sacrifices made by Yemenis in upholding Islam.
