Hajjah: A cultural seminar was held by the Public Telecommunications Corporation, the Postal Authority, and martyred Taha Al-Madani High School for Outstanding Students in Hajjah province to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Secretary-General of the Local Council Ismail Al-Muhaim highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday in the hearts of Yemenis, emphasizing their strong connection to the final Prophet and Messenger, whom God sent as a mercy to the worlds. He stressed the importance of honoring the occasion and drawing lessons from the Prophet's life to promote tolerance, compassion, and solidarity within society, while renewing devotion to Allah and His Messenger and reviving the Prophet's noble example.
Al-Muhaim called for broad participation in the central celebrations marking the Prophet's birthday, emphasizing the importance of reaffirming the people's connection to the Prophet, adhering to his teachings, and following the path of his family and righteous guides.
For his part, Judge Abdulmajeed Sharaf Al-Din, director of the Grievances Authority branch, noted that Prophet Muhammad was an inspiring leader who established principles of tolerance and compassion in society. He highlighted the Prophet's flexibility in dealing with others, even during times of conflict and disagreement, and stated that the Prophet's birthday is an important occasion rich in lessons that the Muslim community needs today to reform its circumstances, improve society, and confront growing challenges.
Director of the Postal Authority branch Omar Al-Hajjaji also emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, noting that his birth marked a turning point for humanity. He remarked that the event brought people from the darkness of ignorance and confusion to the light of Islam and the path of righteousness and guidance.
