Sanaa: The Mobilization in Al-Safiyah District, Capital Secretariat, organized a cultural seminar today on the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr under the slogan "The Day of Criterion." The seminar featured notable attendees, including the Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, and representatives from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Mohammed Uqabat, and the Ministry of Finance, Walid Fayi'. The seminar addressed key themes, particularly the faith-based and jihadist dimension of the Battle of Badr as reflected in the Holy Quran, emphasizing the nation's need to draw lessons for consolidating steadfastness against adversaries.
According to Yemen News Agency, Khaled Al-Madani, the First Undersecretary of the Secretariat, underscored the Great Battle of Badr's role in promoting the culture of jihad, sacrifice, and victory for the oppressed. He highlighted the necessity of national unity against tyranny and global arrogance, advocating for the defense of Islamic sanctities and just causes. Al-Madani emphasized the Battle of Badr's significance as a historical turning point in the triumph of truth over falsehood and faith over disbelief.
Al-Madani further stressed the importance of learning from the Battle of Badr, especially the reliance on God and divine leadership in confronting significant challenges and adversarial schemes. He argued that embracing jihad in the cause of God is essential for the nation's elevation, dignity, and liberation from American and Israeli dominance and colonialism. He pointed out that current realities echo past challenges, with Muslims in regions like Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Syria facing aggressive wars from forces of disbelief and arrogance, thus requiring a unified Islamic front to confront global arrogance and defend the oppressed.
